Wishes for a speedy recovery and much love to Kayla Reed, who seemed to be waiting for me at the crossroads. She was shot last month in Chicago and came down to stay with some of her people in Rosedale. She's healing up ok, she was shot 3 times and one of the bullets went right through her hand and that's causing her the most problems.

Looking forward to seeing you again, Mz. Reed.

Geographical Investigations of the Alluvial Valley of the Lower Mississippi, 1944. By Harold Fisk.

Troy Davis murdered.
Back in Memphis. I went to Rosedale, MS and Clarksdale, MS and I am bringing back a photo to put at Broad and Erie. I was at the crossroads and I met a young woman who seemed to be waiting for me. No god or devil, just all of us trying to make it the best we can. Tomorrow I'll be home after having seen a mysterious and hallowed place. And image for all us who can make it to Broad and Erie in January will be coming home, too. Much love and respect to Kayla Reed.
