Part I: The Call

Right, so I'm just sitting on my sofa working on the slide shows when I get a call from Chrissie Iles, one of the curators from the Whitney Museum of American Art and one of the two Biennial curators. Chrissie Iles then asks if I would like to be in the Whitney Biennial. I say, "Yes, I would like to be in the Whitney Biennial." I believe there's more talking after this that I can not remember. Long story short, I am in the Whitney Biennial.

This call is out of the blue. I have had no contact with Chrissie or any of the Whitney people before this call, Chrissie just saw my stuff because she was one of the Pew jurors.

Does the phrase, "Holy Fuck," mean anything to you?

Part II: The Keeping of the Secret

OK, I am not supposed to tell anyone. Why, lord, why must you test me this way?

I have kept the secret, ok, mostly kept the secret and now here is the list of participating artists.
