"Hitler, only had one ball,
Goering, he had something small,
Himmler had something simmler,
And poor old Goebbels had no balls at all."

This English ditty was taught to me by my grade school art teacher and was one of the best things I learned in grade school.

I remember the two opening lines slightly differently. When I was but a "young 'un" at school we sang:

Hitler, had one big ball
Goering had two, but small
Himmler, he had something similar
But poor old Gobbels, he had no balls at all

And sung to the Colonel Bogey March.

I bet there are as many versions as there are possible variations.

Still visiting and enjoying your blog.

I think your version is the right one... my guess is that the 1980's American one might have some whisper down the lane lyrical qualities in it. However, the beauty of the sentiment remains the same.
