George Takei visits Drexel for National Coming Out Day

George Takei, the original Mr. Sulu from "Star Trek," will visit Drexel University in celebration of National Coming Out Day and diversity at the University. Takei will hold a one hour question-and-answer period that will focus on his decades-long career as a gay man and Asian-American in the entertainment industry. The event will take place October 14. It's free and open to the public. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. start at the Edmund D. Bossone Research Center's Mitchell Auditorium (3128 Market Street).
