Alaska's state motto is "North To The Future," which isn't bad but doesn't fully encompass the vast experience that Alaska is. And most certainly doesn't address the fascinating impossibility of accurately describing Alaska's landscape, climate and residents.
I propose that Alaska change the state motto to "Alaska: This Is Not a Pipe."
Also, Alaska is not a vessel for sucking things out of the land until it's dead and gone... oil, seafood, zinc, lumber. "Drill, baby, drill", my ass.
