If I remember correctly the first time I saw this painting was on a high-school art class field trip. I bought a postcard of it then at the MOMA and the postcard is right on my wall. It's one of those images that just really hit home, but i can't explain why. Those are the best.

Nina, I'm right there with you! This is a piece that's reviled by many who I'm in sync with art wise, but I love it.
